Home

After 12 long hours, Avery and I finally made it home! I was glad to see Cole and Thad but sad that I had to leave Kelly and Brooklyn (and Charlie and Harley!!). I never in a million years would have thought that a bond could be formed so quickly!

They were even more awesome than I expected! They opened their homes and hearts to me and Avery. You don't find people like that very often. I am very lucky!

We promised that this wouldn't be just a once in a year event. We are already brainstorming where to meet next!

SAN ANTONIO, duh!!! :)~

I know you're sick of me saying this but all things work together for good...you would not have met these wonderful people had Avery-do been "average". Special people bring out the specialness in others around them. Glad you've made a new friend...both of you!!

So glad you made it home. How is your mom feeling...tell Gigi I said I hope she is doing better and I do hope to meet her some of these days, too. I enjoyed spending the day at the zoo with Avery's Pappy. Can't believe both girls have a "pappy" and their first names are both Mike. I bet Cole and your husband were really glad to see you.

Kelly has been hard at work with her new job. Someone is coming over tonight to fix up her office with shelves, etc. Her computer has been giving her fits, though. Hopefully it can all get worked out soon. I miss you guys already. Kelly said you guys determined that Nashville is 1/2 way. Why am I not surprised that you two are already talking about getting together again?!?
Take care,
Suzy

I miss you already? Come on, you know Thad would love Angola....yea right. Alabama sounds pretty good to me....or at least it will when the snow starts falling here! We are SO glad you guys came. I knew we would have our girls in common but never thought we would be great friends and get along so well on topics other than Rett Syndrome. I have said it before, I am so glad that God brought you into my life! Now...about that nect trip...:)

I'm glad you made it home safely! And I'm glad you had so much fun on your trip.

We will still need to figure out a time to meet since we are so close now!
