Avery gave new meaning to the name "Avery Cat" today. This is how I found her this morning, all curled up like a cat in her chair!

Proclamation

Tomorrow, Avery, Thad and I will be traveling to Montgomery to witness Governor Riley sign a proclamation deeming October Rett Syndrome Awareness. We are honored to have been invited and even happier that we will also be on the Montgomery local news tomorrow morning at 11:00 central time. Lately we have tried to stress to Cole that Avery is special and he needs to protect and help her. Tonight while in character (like he is most nights!), he decided that Avery needed to be "supergirl". I think she had fun strutting the house in his P.J's!
